You must eat healthy and nutritious food for a healthy body. Well balanced with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables along with proteins and minerals but less fat. Drink a lot of fluids to keep the body hydrated. When the body receives the proper nutrients, it improves immunity and the ability to resists the virus from attacking you.  Be careful about the portion sizes to avoid overeating. And avoid craving food which can lead to binge eating and upset your health. Eat at some fixed times of the day and eat slowly to relish the food and chew it well. Which facilitates digestion.

Maintain physical activities

Overcome the disruptions to everyday living and create a new routine. So that you can stay engaged throughout the day in various activities. It will help distract your mind from the dark sides that generally show up during the pandemic. Staying physically active will refresh your mind and motivate you to pursue meaningful goals that enrich your wellbeing. Exercising for some time daily is the best way to stay active and healthy. In addition, you can do some household chores or play with kids that help maintain a certain level of physical activity. And elevate the mood.

Follow a sleep routine

Having a good sleep is essential to stay healthy and relieve mental stress. Because when you wake up in the morning after 7-8 hours of sleep, you will feel fresh as a daisy. Go to bed every day around the same time. If you are working from home, then taking a brief nap for 30-45 minutes is most welcome. As it allows the body to rest and recharge the batteries.  Before going to bed, prepare your mind by allowing it to relax so that it induces sleep.

While you can do many more things to take care of your well-being. The above is essential as it forms the foundation of good health and a sound mind.
